Abstract

An efficient single-step procedure for the synthesis of 4,6-diarylpyrimidin-2(1H)-ones promoted by Zn(OTf)2-TCT or Bi(OTf)3-TCT under solvent-free microwave irradiation conditions has been developed.{A figure is presented}. © 2006 The Japan Institute of Heterocyclic Chemistry.
