Biography

Mehdi Rahmani, Assistant Professor in the Department of Knowledge and Information Science at the University of Isfahan, is a specialist in information and knowledge as well as modern management technologies. He earned his PhD in Information Science from the University of Tehran in 2020. His doctoral dissertation, "Identification, Evaluation, and Prioritization of Risks in Public Library Services in Iran", aimed to improve the quality and efficiency of public library services across the country. Following his PhD, he pursued a postdoctoral project supported by the National Elite Foundation of Iran and hosted by the Army University of Medical Sciences, focusing on "designing an ontology for the country’s job market". This innovative project provided a precise and up-to-date framework for understanding job requirements and labor market needs in Iran. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Shahid Madani University of Azerbaijan and his master’s degree from Shahid Beheshti University. His research interests include: - Knowledge and information management and leadership - Artificial intelligence and its applications in scientific services - Ontology design and knowledge modeling - Information and media literacy - Scientific and educational content production and management - Risk management in information systems In addition to his academic activities, Mehdi Rahmani is the CEO of the cultural and artistic institute Elm Afarinan Fardad and the Fardad accelerator, both of which contribute to innovation and the development of scientific and industrial capabilities in the country.
