Biography
Ahmad Reza Saedi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Arabic Language and Literature at the University of Isfahan. He earned his Ph.D. in Modern Arabic Literature from the University of Tehran (2006–2009). His academic interests include comparative literature, modern and postmodern Arabic literature, science fiction in Persian and Arabic, cultural and social criticism, postcolonial theory, cinema and fiction, drama and film studies, intercultural studies, narratology, and war and trauma literature. Since 2009, he has taught courses in comparative literature, modern Arabic literature, fiction, literary criticism, and critical theory at the University of Isfahan; he previously taught at the University of Tehran (Qom branch) and the University of Qom (2006–2009). Prof. Saedi has served as Cultural Supervisor and Deputy Head of his department, is a member of the departmental policy-making body, and has reviewed for numerous respected journals.
