Biography
Dr. Masoud Algooneh Jouneghani is an Associate Professor in the Department of Persian Language and Literature at the University of Isfahan. He received his Ph.D. in Persian Language and Literature from the University of Isfahan (2011), his M.A. in English Language Teaching from Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz (2001), and his B.A. in English Language and Literature from Shahid Beheshti University, Tehran (1997). His areas of expertise include literary theory, semiotics of poetry, myth studies, mystical language, and the phenomenology of language in Persian literature. He has conducted research in contemporary literary criticism, discourse analysis, literary linguistics, and comparative studies between Persian literature and Western theoretical frameworks.
